Giants: no interest in 'Hard Knocks'

Had an interesting conversation recently with a person in the TV industry who, like me, apparently has too much time on his hands during the dog days of summer.

The question: What are the five least-likely teams to allow HBO to visit training camp for the "Hard Knocks" series?

As long as Bill Parcells is with the Dolphins, Bill Belichick is with the Patriots and Eric Mangini is with the Browns, those teams are extreme longshots.

As long as Al Davis owns the Raiders, they might be the least likely of all.

But right behinid them are the Giants, whose president, John Mara, had this to say to the New York Post about "Hard Knocks:"

"I happen to like the show and I think they do a good job with it. It's just not for us. We are at training camp to get our team ready for the season -- not to be part of a TV show."
