Golf writers boycott Tiger Woods
There is no sport with more docile, happy-to-be-there chroniclers than golf, but Tiger Woods' no-questions news conference even got them riled up.
Here is former Newsday scribe Damon Hack's take on the golf writers' decision to boycott this morning's statement by Woods.
Good for them. Tiger should take questions. It's obvious, right?
Umm . . . maybe not. Here is more evidence journalists and normal people live in parallel universes:
During SportsCenter Thursday night ESPN conducted an unscientific poll that asked voters whether Woods is right not to take questions this a.m.
46 percent said no. 54 percent said yes.
I need to make a quick trip to the grocery store to pick up nachos and root beer. Having some people over for a Tiger Woods viewing party.
I'll be back on the blog this afternoon.
