Fox had yet another generally sharp telecast for Game 5, IMHO, including Tim McCarver first-guessing Mike Scioscia's removal of John Lackey and first-guessing the unfortunate pitch selection against Vlad the Impaler.

There were a couple of weird moments in the sixth. Did I correctly hear Joe Buck calling Andorra a "small island?" Um, no, Joe.

And what was up with Fox showing the dude taking a dip in the waters beyond the outfield wall in Anaheim? Haven't networks avoided such shots for decades?

Assuming an average of 3.5 hours per game, we've got 31-plus hours left in the company of Buck and McCarver, and that doesn't seem so bad at all.
