MLB Network will cover trade deadline Friday in big way

The seven-month-old MLB Network will mark its first MLB trade deadline Friday with 15 hours (!) of live coverage starting at 11 a.m. and featuring all sorts of hosts and analysts.

Plus, Bob Costas will narrate six editions of "MLB Network Remembers" looking back at famous trades of the past.

At the time, I thought the Ryan-for-Fregosi deal made a lot of sense. Sigh.
