ESPN 1050's Stephen A. Smith will host a nationally broadcast roundtable discussion at the ESPN Zone in Times Square Wednesday from 2 to 4 p.m. on the topic of black athletes, part of the company's recognition of Black History Month.

The panel is to include Deion Sanders, NBA commish David Stern and Newsday's own Shaun Powell. Football great Jim Brown had to back out due to illness, but CBS' James Brown is now scheduled to call in.

The public is invited to attend for free, but donations will be accepted to benefit Harlem RBI. There also will be sports memorabilia auctioned to benefit the organization.

Harlem RBI is a youth development program based in East Harlem.
