Cowboys linebacker Thomas “Hollywood” Henderson caused a stir in the week leading up to the game when he took a shot at Steelers quarterback Terry Bradshaw. Henderson, who had predicted before the NFC Championship Game that the Cowboys would shut out the “no class” Rams, said “Bradshaw couldn’t spell ‘cat’ if you spotted him the ‘c’ and the ‘t’.” Bradshaw took the high road and didn’t fire back in the media, instead throwing four touchdown passes and earning Super Bowl MVP honors in the Steelers’ 35-31 win. | (Credit: AP)

Fox will telecast Super Bowl XLVIII, featuring pregame, halftime and postgame analysis from its biggest studio star – Terry Bradshaw.

So the four-time Super Bowl champ must be pumped up for the big event at MetLife Stadium, right? Um . . . let’s just say Fox had better hope he warms up to the idea by Feb. 2.

Here is what Bradshaw said on WFAN Wednesday regarding the first outdoor Super Bowl in a cold-weather city:

“Thank you, Commissioner. Thank you, Super Bowl committee, for putting us in New York. We all know why we’re in New York. It’s because they overpaid for that stupid stadium in New Jersey, so we’ve got to go up there so they can suck up to all the people and make everybody, ‘Well, here, we’ll give you a Super Bowl; put out $1.3 billion for a stadium.’ By the way, not a gorgeous stadium, either.

“Here’s the bone: ‘We’ll give you a Super Bowl.’ It’s friggin’ outside in New York. Are you kidding me?! Not even New York – New Jersey! . . . Listen, I don’t want it to be bad, because I’m there, all right? I don’t want it to be bad. I want it to be nice, but I don’t think you should be putting Super Bowls in northern cities in the winter time.

“You should be in Florida or California or Arizona, where there is [cq] no excuses . . . Teams that run the football will have a bigger advantage than teams that throw the football. What if we get two passing teams? What if they get Denver there? What if it’s pouring down snow? You get a bad game.”
