World Series sprint should make great, goofy theater
Face it, the bizarre events of the past three days have injected needed juice into this thing, and offers baseball like it oughta be: About an hour's worth.
Heck, they should start every game in the bottom of the sixth . . . OK, maybe in the top of the sixth, just to be fair. It would make the staid sport more fun.
(By all means, watch the Knicks' opener, too. This is the first regular-season game in which Stephon Marbury and I will be working for the same company. So I'll check it out. Until 8:37.)
