Grant Hill spent two decades in the NBA, but you might recall his work in the NCAA Tournament before that, such as a long pass he completed to Duke teammate Christian Laettner in Philadelphia in 1992.

Brent Musburger moves from lead ESPN booth to SEC Network

ESPN announced that Brent Musburger and Jesse Palmer will be its lead announcing team for college football games on the new SEC Network, starting Aug. 28 with Texas A&M at South Carolina.

The news means that Musburger, 74, no longer will be ESPN's lead college football play-by-play man for major events such as Saturday night games on ABC and the national championship game.

Mike Francesa to announce TV home Wednesday

Mike Francesa said early in his WFAN show Tuesday afternoon that "the deal is done" for a new simulcast home and that he will announce it Wednesday.

Newsday reported Feb. 9 that he was bound for Fox Sports 1.

Francesa was simulcast on the YES Network from 2002 until Super Bowl Sunday this year. The next day, ESPN New York's Michael Kay moved into Francesa's old time slot on YES.
