Manhattanhenge 2016: See stunning NYC sunset photos

As the sun set on New York City on Monday, July 11 and Tuesday, July 12, New Yorkers and tourists were treated to a breathtaking sight as the sun aligned perfectly with Manhattan's grid, offering a picture-perfect view.

Though Manhattanhenge happens twice a year, the previous opportunity in May was marred by cloudy skies. Both sunsets this time around, however, did not disappoint.

Take a look at stunning photos from Manhattanhenge.
