MTA weekend service changes: What to know before riding the subway

Here's a look at the service changes from Friday night to Monday morning.

No. 1 trains

Van Cortlandt Park-bound trains in Manhattan will skip 50th, 59th and 66th streets.

No. 2 trains

Trains will run every 12 minutes (Saturday and Sunday).

Wakefield-bound trains in Manhattan will skip 50th, 59th and 66th streets.

No. 3 trains

Trains will make stops along the 4 line in Brooklyn.

No. 4 trains

Service between Bowling Green in Manhattan and New Lots Avenue in Brooklyn will be replaced by 2 and 3 trains.

Uptown trains in Manhattan will skip 51st, 68th, 77th, 96th, 103rd, 110th and 116th streets.

Manhattan-bound trains in the Bronx will skip 176th Street, Mt. Eden Avenue, 170th, 167th and 161st streets (3:45 a.m. Saturday to 10 p.m. Sunday).

Service will run every 16 minutes between 125th Street in Manhattan and Woodlawn in the Bronx (Saturday, 8 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. and Sunday, 11 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.).

No. 5 trains

Trains will run every 20 minutes between Dyre Avenue in the Bronx and Bowling Green in Manhattan (Saturday and Sunday).

No. 6 trains

Pelham Bay Park-bound trains in Manhattan will skip 51st, 68th, 77th, 96th, 103rd, 110th and 116th streets.

No. 7 trains

Normal weekend service.

A trains

Ozone Park/Far Rockaway-bound trains will not stop at 163rd, 155th, 135th, 116th, 110th, 96th, 86th, 81st and 72nd streets.

Trains in Manhattan will skip 103rd Street in both directions.

C trains

168th Street-bound trains will run along the F line from Jay Street-MetroTech in Brooklyn to West Fourth Street in Manhattan.

Euclid Avenue-bound trains will skip 50th, 23rd and Spring streets in Manhattan.

Trains will run every 12 minutes.

E trains

World Trade Center-bound trains in Queens will run express from Forest Hills-71st Avenue to Queens Plaza.

World Trade Center-bound trains in Queens will not stop at Briarwood and 75th Avenue.

B trains

The B does not run on weekends.

D trains

Trains will run every 12 minutes (Saturday and Sunday).

Manhattan-bound trains will stop at DeKalb Avenue.

F trains

Coney Island-bound trains in Queens will skip Sutphin Boulevard, Briarwood and 75th Avenue.

M trains

Service is extended to 96th Street in Manhattan.

G trains

Normal weekend service.

J trains

Service between Crescent Street in Brooklyn and Jamaica Center in Queens will be replaced by E trains and free shuttle buses (3:45 a.m., Saturday to 10 p.m., Sunday).

L trains

Service will be suspended between Broadway Junction in Brooklyn and Eighth Avenue in Manhattan. Trains will be replaced by M14 buses and free shuttle buses.

N trains

Trains will run every 12 minutes (Saturday and Sunday).

Coney Island-bound trains in Queens will not stop at 30th and 36th avenues.

Service between 36th Street and Stillwell Avenue in Brooklyn will be replaced by R trains and free shuttle buses.

Trains will make stops along the D line in both directions between 36th Street and Stillwell Avenue.

Trains will run via the R in both directions between Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center in Brooklyn and Canal Street in Manhattan.

Q trains

Service between 96th Street in Manhattan and Prospect Park in Brooklyn will be replaced by the M, N, R lines and free shuttle buses. 

R trains

Trains will operate to and from the 179th Street F station (Saturday and Sunday).

Trains will run between 95th Street and Forest Hills-71st Avenue and then along the F line to and from 179th Street.

W trains

The W does not run on weekends.

S shuttle

Normal weekend service.

Z trains

The Z does not run on weekends.
