Police are searching for a suspect that shot a 25-year-old Brooklyn man to dead outside of a West Bronx bar.

The man, Oliver Askia of East New York was shot in the chest in front of Krystal Bar & Lounge at 1534 University Ave. just before 11 p.m. on Nov. 30, according to the NYPD.

He was then taken by private means across the borough to Jacobi Hospital, where Askia was pronounced dead, police sources said.

Officers from the 46th Precinct responded to the bar regarding a reported assault, but Askia had already been removed to the hospital by the time cops arrived, police noted.

Detectives have not yet determined a motive for the shooting, nor identified a suspect. The investigation is ongoing.
