Here are our picks for how to spend May 5. Manila Social Club's Patrón Platinum Donut Photo Credit: Tim Williams Chef Bjorn DelaCruz has created this uber-luxe doughnut for Cinco de Mayo after his previous Internet-breaking success with the gold doughnut. It's topped with edible sheets of platinum and silver and goes for a whopping $150. The limited-edition treat is inspired by the Patrón margarita of the year called Rosa Picante. It's a rose petal-flavored doughnut filled with cream and spicy ginger and jalapeno margarita jelly and topped with sweet tequila frosting. Oh, and silver and platinum. "Cinco de Nobu" features special sushi tacos paired with margaritas all night on May 5 in the Nobu 57 lounge. For $55, get five Nobu-style tacos and a special margarita. Last year, 6,000 margaritas were sold across all the locations, the company reported. That's a lot of tequila! Specials include: $5 frozen and $8 shaken margaritas, and free chips and salsa with every order. Until 9 p.m., El Camino margaritas are just $7. Get four food tickets for $17 or $5 each. The restaurant specializes in Mediterranean and Middle Eastern cuisine, but for Cinco de Mayo they will be serving a special triple tostada featuring sabich (a traditional Israeli sandwich of fried eggplant and hard-boiled eggs), octopus and pulled chicken. 330 W.
