Shake Shack returns to Madison Square Park on Wednesday!

The shack is back!

Shake Shack‘s original burger shack in Madison Square Park will re-open for business on Wednesday, May 20th at 11 a.m.

Following a long winter of renovations, the decade-old New York favorite will debut new menu items along with live music and free dog biscuits for the fast food restaurant’s canine fans.

A new burger, The ParkBurger (single, $7.09; double, $9.39), available only at Shake Shack’s original location, will be topped with cave-aged Jasper Hill Farm raw cowas milk cheese sauce and all-natural Niman Ranch applewood smoked bacon. Our mouths are already watering for what sounds like a pretty incredible creation.

To chase down this cheesey new burger, Shack Shack has also teamed up with Brooklyn Brewery to brew the Shack Phoenix, a special edition ungiltered lager made from Bohemian barley. Breadiness will be all around for shack fans!

Architecture nerds may want to line up at Shake Shack’s re-opening early: 100% recycled chipboard replicas of the Madison Square Park Shack will be given for free to the first 100 guests in line. The 101st guest and those thereafter cna be the to-scale model for $20.

“When Shake Shack renewed our lease with the City of New York, we committed to a complete renovation to restore the original Shack and prepare for the decade to come. After more than seven months of complete renovation, we couldnat be more excited to reopen and continue to serve as a community gathering place for New Yorkers and visitors alike,” Shake Shack CEO, Randy Garutti said in a press release Monday.

“We want to thank our team, our guests, our suppliers, and our community: Madison Square Park Conservancy and the New York City Department of Parks & Recreation for all their support. We look forward to the season ahead.”

And we look forward to all the burgers, fries and shakes.
