We're going to say no. These drink recipes by some of NYC's best bartenders will help get you in the mood on Valentine's Day. Go out for drinks or stir them up yourself! Rebelle's Swipe Right Photo Credit: Katie Burton Ingredients: 2 oz. Koval gin 1/2 oz. ginger syrup 1 oz. cranberry juice 1/2 oz. lemon juice Method: Shake and serve up with lemon peel garnish. Brooklyn Winery's Bouquet of Brooklyn Photo Credit: Brooklyn Winery Ingredients: 1.5 ounces Brooklyn Winery Zinfandel 1 ounce Hendricks gin 1 ounce Campari 1 ounce "bouquet of flowers" simple syrup (recipe below) Combine all ingredients in a rocks glass and stir over ice. Garnish with either an orange peel or edible flowers. Bouquet of Flowers simple syrup: 1/2 cup dried hibiscus flowers 2 tablespoons dried lavender flowers 15 dried rose buds 3/4 cup sugar Bring 1 cup water to boil then remove from heat. Combine all dry ingredients and pour boiling water over them. Stir until sugar is dissolved then cover and steep for 10 minutes. Strain through a fine mesh sieve and refrigerate until ready to use. Yields 8 ounces of syrup. Limani's The Vesper Photo Credit: elit Ingredients: 2 oz. elit by Stolichnaya 1 oz. gin ½ oz. Lillet Method: Pour elit into a cocktail shaker with ice and shake until ice cold. Strain and serve up, garnished with a lemon twist. The Clocktower's Valley of the Flowers Photo Credit: Edition Hotel Ingredients: 1.25 Oz Snow Leopard Vodka 1.25 Oz Mizu Sochu 2 dash grapefruit bitters Method: Stir with some ice and strain. Cherry's Cherry Bomb Photo Credit: Cherry at Dream Downtown Ingredients: 2 oz Tequila 2 oz Cherry jam 1 oz Lemon juice 1 oz Black pepper agave Method: Add all ingredients to iced cocktail shaker and shake vigorously. Pour into a rocks glass and garnish with a pickled cherry. Kingside's Will You Still Love Me Stamaro Photo Credit: Kingside Ingredients: 1 strawberry 2 oz Belvedere vodka .5 Amaro Nonino 1 oz lime juice .5 oz simple syrup Method: Muddle strawberry. Shake all ingredients and serve up in a coupe with a salt rim. Sekend Sun's Me & Her Photo Credit: Sekend Sun Ingredients: 1.25 oz Mr. Katz's Rock and Rye 1 oz Monkey Shoulder .75 oz lemon juice .5 oz LeJay cassis .25 oz Campari Top soda Method: Add all ingredients to shaker with ice. Shake and strain over fresh ice. Top with soda and lemon wedge. All'Onda's Air Italy Photo Credit: All'Onda Ingredients: 1.25 oz. Snow Leopard Vodka .75 oz. Fresh lemon juice .75 oz. Aperitivo Cappelletti .75 oz. Cardamaro Method: Shake all ingredients with ice, strain into a coupe glass. Rainbow Room's Old Fashioned Romance Ingredients: 2oz Rittenhouse Rye ½ oz Lazzaroni Amaretto ¼ oz Cherry Heering Liqueur 2 Dashes of Peychaud’s Bitters Luxardo Gourmet Maraschino cherry (optional) Method Stir all ingredients in a mixing glass over ice. Strain into fresh glass over ice. Add two dashes of Peychaud’s and garnish with Luxardo Gourmet Maraschino cherry (optional). Sushi Samba's Lavendar Lady Photo Credit: Sushi Samba Ingredients: 30ml Bombay Sapphire 15ml creme de peche 10ml lavender agave 30ml peach purée 20ml lemon juice Dash of egg white 1 kaffir leaf Method: Shake all ingredients and double strain. Serve in a chilled coupette and garnish with lavender sprig. Eugene & Co 's French Kiss '75 Photo Credit: Eugene & Co Ingredients: 1/2 oz lemon juice 1/4 oz hibiscus syrup 1 oz vodka Champagne or prosecco Method: Mix all ingredients. Top with bubbly. Garnish with lemon twist. Wallflower's Lady Grey Photo Credit: Wallflower Ingredients: 1 ½ oz Earl Grey tea infused Citadelle Gin ½ oz Pear William Purkart ¾ oz Bergamot Juice ½ oz simple syrup 1 dash Pernod Absinthe Method: Shake all ingredients and strain into a rock glass with a big ice ball cube. Nerai's Persephone Photo Credit: Nerai Ingredients: 1oz pomegranate juice 1/2oz Cointreau 1/2oz St. Germain Champagne or sparkling wine Method: Put all ingredients in a shaker. Shake and strain into a flute. Top with champagne or sparkling wine. Garnish with pomegranate seeds. Raine's Law Room's St. Germain Cocktail Ingredients: 2 parts MARTINI Prosecco 1½ parts St-Germain 2 parts Sparkling water Method: Stir ingredients in a tall ice-filled Collins glass, mixing completely.
