The Walking Dead Photo Credit: AMC / Gene Page What goes better with Halloween than the zombie apocalypse? The fifth season premiere aired Sunday, so catch up on the first four season of the zombie drama on Netflix before settling in for the new season. 'American Horror Story' Photo Credit: MICHELE K. SHORT/FX Each season of the FX's is a separate mini-series, with a "beginning, middle and end." So pick a season, or watch them all to be terrified in every way possible. The fourth season, "American Horror Story: Freak Show," premiered on October 8, 2014 with the highest ratings in the network's history. Seasons 1 and 2 are streaming on Netflix. 'Hemlock Grove' Photo Credit: Netflix A Netflix original series, "Hemlock Grove" follows the events in the eponymous town after two teen girls are brutally killed. The town is also home to the Godfre Institute for Biomedical Technologies, which is suspected of performing dark experiments on a daily basis. In what is now typical for Netflix series, the show is perfect to binge-watch. 'The Vampire Diaries' Photo Credit: The CW Network The CW show is still going strong in its sixth season, and you can catch up on the first five seasons on Netflix. 'Supernatural' Photo Credit: The CW / Michael Courtney Brothers Sam and Dean are on a mission to find their father, who disappeared while hunting evil forces. The first nine seasons are streaming on Netflix, so you can lock yourself up until Halloween with plenty of episodes to watch. 'Witches of East End' Photo Credit: Lifetime Finally, a good reason to avoid the Hamptons. (although the show takes place in the fictional town "East End," we can dream it's OUR East End, right?) The first season of this Lifetime show about a mother and her two daughters (all witches, obvi) is streaming on Netflix. 'Pretty Little Liars' Photo Credit: ABC FAMILY Four teens are being stalked by someone known only as "A" who knows there secrets -- and the only person who could have known those secrets is their presumed dead friend Alison. The first four seasons are streaming on Netflix, so get ready for plenty of haunted surprises. 'Are You Afraid of the Dark?' Photo Credit: YouTube OK, technically this isn't available to "stream," although every episode of the '90s Nickelodeon classic is now on YouTube. For millennial parents, it's the perfect time to introduce your own children to the classic series -- or just take a trip down memory lane for those original fans without children.
