Clarkson also is stepmother to Blackstock’s two children — son Seth and daughter Savannah — from a previous marriage. The three-time Grammy Award-winner revealed her pregnancy in August during a concert. “I was not planning on announcing this, but I’m pregnant,” she told the audience at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. “Totally pregnant!” When the crowd cheered in response, a teary Clarkson said, “This is not how I wanted to announce that,” and joked, through her running mascara, “My makeup artist is backstage just, like, hating me.” The first “American Idol” winner, in 2002, Clarkson has recorded hits including “Since U Been Gone” and “My Life Would Suck Without You.” By Frank Lovece Special to Newsday Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Comments Comments section is temporarily on hold.
