Kim Kardashian returns to Twitter post-Paris robbery

For the first time since robbers stole millions in jewels from Kim Kardashian in a Paris hotel on Oct. 3, the reality-TV star returned to Twitter — quietly — on Thursday.

Nothing was tweeted — her last tweets were posted Oct. 2, when Kardashian was attending Paris Fashion Week — but it was noticed that 14 people had been dropped from the 121 she had been following up to the day before, leaving 107.

It was not immediately apparent who had been dropped, but the current batch includes both friends and relatives, as well as pages for Kardashian-sponsored products and for professionals such as Vogue’s style editor Edward Barsamian. The current list also includes such unexpected entities as the tabloid Daily Mail and “Girls Gone Wild” entrepreneur Joe Francis.

Additionally, Kardashian, 35, is postponing some personal appearances this month, including an appearance at Hakkasan Las Vegas Nightclub on Oct. 28. A representative for the nightspot told E! News that Kardashian is contracted to make four appearances at the club this year for $1 million, and has two events left to do. E! said the club likely will allow her to reschedule at later dates without penalty.
