TMZ.com said he has taken three unassisted steps, defying doctors’ expectations. The site added that Odom, 36, additionally was able to reach above his head in order to put on a hood, despite his limited range of motion, and that his brain function is slowly improving. He soon will be moved from his hospital to a rehab facility, TMZ said. Odom was hospitalized on Oct. 13 after being found unconscious in a Nevada brothel. He was in a coma for nearly three days after apparently overdosing on a mix of herbal stimulants, cocaine and alcohol.
