Khloé Kardashian’s estranged husband, former NBA star Lamar Odom, reportedly has taken steps without a walker for the first time since waking from his coma in October.
TMZ.com said he has taken three unassisted steps, defying doctors’ expectations.
The site added that Odom, 36, additionally was able to reach above his head in order to put on a hood, despite his limited range of motion, and that his brain function is slowly improving.
He soon will be moved from his hospital to a rehab facility, TMZ said.
Odom was hospitalized on Oct. 13 after being found unconscious in a Nevada brothel. He was in a coma for nearly three days after apparently overdosing on a mix of herbal stimulants, cocaine and alcohol.
