Lindsay Lohan, Kourtney Kardashian step out together in London

In what feels like a crossover episode of a fictional series, Lindsay Lohan and a Kardashian have had a team-up.

“London calling,” wrote eldest Kardashian sibling Kourtney Kardashian, 37, in an Instagram post of herself and Lohan, 29, in the British capital, where the “Mean Girls” star lives. Lohan shortly afterward posted the same image with the caption “#theparenttrap my #twin @kourtneykardash has arrived!!,” alluding to the 1998 Disney movie “The Parent Trap,” in which she played long-lost twins in London.

In press photographs later as the two hit the town Wednesday night, Lohan wears the same dress as in the selfie, a short red-and-blue striped number with a plunging neckline and fringed hem. Kardashian wears a shiny black top and black skirt.

In an Instagram video several hours later, Kardashian, on a rooftop, poses saucily in what appears to be the same dress. Within five hours, as of Thursday morning, the post had 2.3 million views.

People magazine on Thursday said the dress belonged to Lohan, while Us Weekly and TMZ.com, which first reported the fashion swap, said simply that the two shared a dress, without assuming who was the owner.

TMZ reported that Lohan, originally of Merrick and Cold Spring Harbor, and Kardashian, a star of the E! reality show “Keeping Up With the Kardashians,” dined together at the restaurant Ours, then partied at the club Loulou’s in the tony Mayfair neighborhood and ended the night at the flagship London venue of the club Cirque le Soir.
