DVD and Blu-ray highlights: ‘Ping Pong Summer,’ ‘Divergent’

‘Ping Pong Summer’

Take a trip back to 1985 with this small coming-of-age movie that’s been compared to “The Karate Kid,” but instead with a table tennis battle. That’s an apt comparison, and I couldn’t devise a better one, to be honest. If you grew up in the ’80s, this will be a fond nostalgic time capsule. Starring Susan Sarandon, Lea Thompson and Marcello Conte. (DVD, $28.99; Blu-ray, $29.99)

‘Oculus’

Is a mirror to blame for all sorts of supernatural horror? Staring Karen Gillan. (DVD, $29.98; Blu-ray, $39.99)

‘Divergent’

The latest teen action flick, based on the novels by Veronica Roth. (DVD, $29.95; Blu-ray/DVD combo, $39.99)
