Photo Credit: Getty Images / Frazer Harrison By AMNY June 2, 2015 4:25 PM Print Share fbShare Tweet Email Eddie Redmayne, who won an Oscar this year for his portrayal of Stephen Hawking in "The Theory of Everything," will star in a aHarry Pottera prequel film called "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them," Warner Bros. announced Monday. The 33-year-old Brit will play the filmas protagonist, Newt Scamander, a "magizoologist" dreamed up by J.K. Rowling. As the filmas screenwriter, Rowling will reteam with David Yates, who directed the last four "Harry Potter" pictures. "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" is the title of a textbook used by Harry and his classmates at Hogwarts School for Witchcraft and Wizardry. The film is slated for release on Nov. 18, 2016.
