Police said the NYPD special victims unit was looking into the case but that no charges have been filed. Police said the Manhattan district attorney's office was also involved in the investigation. According to police, the woman alleged that Weinstein touched her on the breast at about 6 p.m. on March 27. It is unclear why the woman was at the film center. Weinstein, 63, is one of the founders of Miramax and a principal in the Weinstein Company, an independent film production company which has won a number of Academy Awards. A spokesman for Weinstein couldn't be immediately reached for comment. A spokesman for Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus Vance Jr. declined to comment on the allegations. By ANTHONY M.
