Jon Stewart, who retired from "The Daily Show" earlier this month, makes his next public appearance in what might seem an unexpected venue: hosting WWE's SummerSlam this Sunday live on the WWE Network.

The pro wrestling conglomerate said on Monday that longtime fan Stewart, 52, would headline the four-hour broadcast from Brooklyn's Barclays Center, starting at 7 p.m.

The event will feature The Undertaker and Brock Lesnar in a rematch of their WrestleMania 30 bout, the WWE said. Stewart has not commented.

During his final "Daily Show" stretch, Stewart and WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins engaged in a running mock feud.
