Kanye West targets Taylor Swift again on Twitter rant

Rapper Kanye West — who tweeted Wednesday, “I’m not a rapper” — laced into singer Taylor Swift in a profanity-filled rant Tuesday night in Los Angeles.

In a subtitled, one-minute video supplied to Us Weekly by the nightclub 1 OAK LA — evidently shot by an audience member and appearing online in versions as long as three minutes — West insists that despite her denial, Swift, 26, was indeed aware of what her representative called the “misogynistic message” of his recent single “Famous.” The song’s lyrics include the lines “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex / Why? I made that [expletive] famous.”

“I called Taylor,” West says from the DJ booth at the club, where he was debuting a track from his new album “The Life of Pablo.” “I played her [the song]. I told her, look, I said, ‘Taylor, I talked to my wife [Kim Kardashian] about it.’ And I said, ‘How you feel about this line?’ I was like, ‘Taylor, “I think you and me still might have sex.” ’ She said, ‘Ooh, Kanye, I like that line!’ Then she won her award and said something completely different,” he declared, referring to her acceptance speech for the Album of the Year Grammy, in which she spoke of “people along the way who will try to undercut your success or take credit for your accomplishments or your fame.”

“She not cool no more!” West, 38, screams to the crowd. “She had two seconds to be cool” and missed her chance, he asserts with an obscenity. “Make her stop trying to make up stories!”

On Wednesday, prolific tweeter West posted more than 40 tweets that, in addition to denying that he rapped, announced, “I’m not crazy I’m free. . . . I’m happy and free and proud and confident. I’m not crazy. I’m free.”
