Punk Island NYC announced that their free music festival will be making its return to Randalls Island this summer.
Punk Island is a nonprofit collective of artists, curators, musicians, and educators who aim to bring the vitality, diversity, and intensity of New York City’s punk scene to the forefront. Every year, the group hosts a free, all-ages music festival funded by Make Music New York, the collective, and the community.
This year, Punk Island NYC will take place on Sunday, June 8. The festival will have seven stages, one more than last year. Leading up to the festival, The Pigeon Pack will host two benefit shows at Wonderville in Brooklyn on April 19 and May 25.
“I’m excited to see we’re continuing to grow, and can’t wait to see the amazing mix of almost 100 bands traveling far and wide to play this year’s events. Just like in years prior, 2025 has no shortage of phenomenal acts that you can see all in one whirlwind of a day,” said Mike Dietz, Lunchbox Stage Manager.
The full lineup for Punk Island will be announced at a later date. For more information about Punk Island, visit punkislandnyc.org.
