What does the Tribeca Film Festival mean to you?

Great movies in the best city in the world

Has New York City inspired your work in any way?

In the portrayal of the obit writers at the Times, we actually did a lot of thinking about the hustle and bustle of the city below. It informed lighting, edit decisions and sound design of the film. We wanted viewers to have a faint awareness of it.

What’s your favorite restaurant in NYC?

I’m easy and happy almost anywhere.

Yellow cab, Uber or subway?

Subway, always fastest.

Why should Tribeca audiences see your film/project?

Thinking about obits is a good thing!
