Iron Man and Spider-Man are about to meet again. Actor Robert Downey Jr. has joined the cast of Marvel Comics’ and Sony Pictures’ “Spider-Man: Homecoming,” a reboot of the superhero franchise starring Tom Holland as the webslinger, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Downey and Holland’s characters will first encounter one another in “Captain America: Civil War,” which opens May 6 and marks Holland’s debut as Peter Parker/Spider-Man.

Also in the cast of “Homecoming,” which is set to come out next summer, are Marisa Tomei (as Parker’s Aunt May), Zendaya and Tony Revolori (“The Grand Budapest Hotel.”)
