Actor Robert Downey Jr. has joined the cast of Marvel Comics’ and Sony Pictures’ “Spider-Man: Homecoming,” a reboot of the superhero franchise starring Tom Holland as the webslinger, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Downey and Holland’s characters will first encounter one another in “Captain America: Civil War,” which opens May 6 and marks Holland’s debut as Peter Parker/Spider-Man.
