Oh, that’s a good one! The week-long New York Comedy Festival returns to the five boroughs today, bringing a lineup of more than 200 jokesters at over 100 shows.

The Daily Show’s Trevor Noah and late night sensation Stephen Colbert are headlining the week of jokes, gags, and irreverence like no other with Colbert performing at Carnegie Hall on Thursday, Nov. 7,and Noah taking over Madison Square Garden on Friday Nov. 8 in addition to tons of other comedy icons throughout the seven days.

Meanwhile, HBO’s Bill Maher will also be putting on an MSG show on Saturday, Nov. 9.

Viral Instagram sensation Trevor Wallace will also be doing some standup in the city this week for the festival, too. He’ll be at the Gramercy Theatre on Friday, Nov 8, likely ragging on AirPod users and people that never left their hometowns in addition to more plenty more millennial-based humor.

For the slightly older generations, longtime laugh man and Saturday Night Live alum Norm Macdonald is doing a show for the festival at Carolines On Broadway on Friday, Nov. 8 as well.

The festival also has an up and comers show in the lineup that highlights comedians that still need an introduction when taking the stage.

That Comics To Watch show, which SNL’s Michael Che is an alum of will be at The Stand on both Thursday, Nov. 7 and Friday, Nov. 8 during the festival.

Nick Kroll, who’s captured America’s raunchy side on the hit, Emmy nominated Netflix show Big Mouth has a set at BAM, where he’ll b doing his “Middle Aged Boy” tour on Saturday, Nov. 9.

For those that like an edgier style of comedy, there’s going to be a Roastmasters Tournament hosted by Kim Congdon at The Stand on three nights: Monday, Nov. 4, Tuesday, Nov. 5, and a Sunday, Nov. 10 even to make sure that the roasting is well done.

And for those that want to see a somewhat kinder and gentler competition, there’s the New York’s Funniest Stand-Up finals on Nov. 9 at Carolines On Broadway. It features Geoffrey Asmus, Tyler Fischer, Dominic Leonelli, Xazmin Garza, Michael Rowland, Erik Bergstrom, Menuhin Hart, Caitlin Peluffo, Rufat Agayev, Hanna Dickinson going for the title.

This is only a fraction of the world class comedy talent coming to the Big Apple for the week. Check out nycomedyfestival.com for the full lineup.
