Entertainment Video shows 'Family Feud' contestant repeating wrong answers Is this the worst answer in 'Family Feud' history? A "Family Feud" contestant repeats the same incorrect answer for nearly a half hour in an upcoming episode. A video of a family competing on “Family Feud” is circulating online after host Steve Harvey said they gave the worst answers in the show’s history. With the two top answers, “Mommy and Mama,” already on the board, the Patterson family only needs to call out two more possible terms for "mother" to win the round. Instead, the family racks up two red “X’s” within seconds, kicking out “Nanny” and “Nana” from the possibilities. The game then moves along to Sheila, as her “Family Feud” tag identifies her. That’s where the trouble starts. “It took 25 minutes for her to answer” and she kept saying the same word in a slightly different way the entire time, Harvey told The Huffington Post. “The producers were mortified.” First, she calls out “Nana,” and is reminded by Harvey that her relative already called out that wrong answer. Given a rare second chance, she calls out “Mommy” without realizing it’s already on the board. Harvey and Sheila go back and fourth as she continues to call out “Mommy” using different pronunciations and then eventually makes her way back to variations of “Nana.” “This [explicit] can’t be happening,” a hysterical Harvey says to the crowd. The nearly half-hour clip will be severely cut down when the episode airs this season but fans can still look forward to watching the entire thing -- Harvey says he plans on uploading it to his website.
