Every year Apple users spread rumors about new iPhone updates, and this year is no different.
Last year, a spoof advertisement claimed the iOS 7 update would waterproof your phone.
“In an emergency, a smart-switch will shut off the phone’s power supply and corresponding components to prevent any damage to your iPhone’s delicate circuitry,” the ad stated.
The fake ad looked almost identical to a real Apple ad.
