Like, really love emojis. 74% of Americans use an emoji every day, according to a new report from British tech firm SwiftKey. The report includes an analysis of most-used emojis by state. In New York, we love the "party popper" emoji, "dancer," "Statue of Liberty" and "flexed biceps." We use those emojis more than any other state in the U.S., and for good reason. New Yorkers party it up, we dance all the time, and well, the Statue of Liberty is in New York. Duh. Flexed biceps? Two words: Strong Island. According to the report, we use the "turtle" emoji less than average. Slow and steady just does not win the race in New York. Over on the West Coast, California has heart eyes over "sushi," "sunrise" and "bicycle," which seems to describe Cali life pretty well. Along with the report, SwiftKey debuted a program to determine your signature emoji -- we call dibs on the hallelujah hands.
