Capes haven’t made much of an impact on fashion since the Victorian era, but that may be about to change.
“There’s something about a cape, I don’t know what it is — maybe it’s the flow,” says Christian Siriano.
He’s just one of several designers who’ve reinvented the cape, capitalizing on its mystery, flair and that dash of drama, and making it a must-have item for women this fall.
