That natural, “no-makeup” makeup look starts with gorgeous skin, says makeup artist Alexis Orlando, of Laura Mercier. To keep skin looking clear and flawless, Orlando recommends exfoliating two to three times per week.
Use a tinted moisturizer or a full-coverage foundation, but only in the areas you need it, then add a cream-based cheek color and/or bronzer.
On the eyes, keep makeup minimal — a single neutral shadow and a touch of mascara, Orlando says — and stick to a nude shade for the lips.

The focus of this look is the eyes, so keep the rest of the face fresh and simple, says Orlando, of Laura Mercier.
Start by using a single neutral shadow on the eye to even out the color of the lids, then choose a blue that works with your skintone. Ladies with fair skin should pick a light blue or a blue/green, those with a medium skintone should go with a brighter blue or pop of turquoise and women with darker skin look great in richer shades like navy.
The color should start at the lashline and graduate up to the lid toward the crease. Also use the neutral color on the crease.
