The diminutive Siriano is known for his big, glamorous yet whimsical take on style from breathtaking ball gowns and dramatic dresses to impeccably tailored, sculptural daywear. He's won the hearts of red carpet types including Sarah Jessica Parker, Oprah Winfrey, Taylor Swift and Christina Hendricks. And of course, he also won fashion-reality show, "Project Runway" in 2008, which launched his fashion career. "In my opinion, fashion should never be defined by size," said Siriano in a statement announcing the partnership. "Every woman should feel stylish and comfortable in their clothes." Lane Bryant, where clothing sizes run from 14-28, has been underscoring that point with a variety of promotions, most recently their "I'm No Angel" campaign that showed gorgeous, plus-sized models in lingerie taking a swipe at Victoria's Secret. This is not Siriano's first collab. In 2009 he launched an affordable but wildly forward collection of shoes and handbags for Payless ShoeSource, which he used to accessorize his high fashion runway at New York Fashion Week, and prior to that worked with Puma on a limited edition collection.
