Police need the public’s help in finding an armed man who attempted to steal paychecks at gunpoint from a Manhattan construction office last month.

The NYPD released video footage of the perpetrator responsible for the robbery attempt that occurred at 3 p.m. on Nov. 15 at 1110 Third Ave., on the Upper East Side.

According to law enforcement sources, the crook walked into the location, displayed a firearm and ordered three employees to lie down on the floor. He then pistol-whipped two of the workers, a 46-year-old man and a 23-year-old woman.

That led to a physical struggle, authorities said, which ended with the crook grabbing a bag containing paychecks. However, the suspect — apparently spooked by other employees approaching the office – dropped the bag and ran out.

Cops said he was last seen heading southbound on foot along Third Avenue.

Officers from the 19th Precinct responded to the incident. None of the employees were seriously injured.

In the video police released on Dec. 10, the bandit is shown wearing a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt, maroon pants and blue gloves, while carrying a black backpack.
