Cops need the public’s help in tracking down three armed individuals who invaded a Manhattan man’s apartment and beat him up.
Law enforcement sources said the home invasion occurred at 12:19 p.m. on Dec. 9 in the vicinity of Manhattan Avenue and West 120th Street in Harlem.
According to authorities, the three robbers entered an apartment building and knocked on the door to a second-floor apartment.
When the 24-year-old male victim answered the door, cops said, the suspects pushed their way inside; two of them displayed firearms. According to police, the pistol-packing perps then pummeled the man’s face with their guns, causing bruising.
Moments later, the group of attackers fled the apartment and were last see entering a gray Honda Accord on West 120th Street.
Officers from the 28th Precinct responded to the incident; the victim refused medical attention at the scene.
Cops later determined that the invaders didn’t steal any property. A source familiar with the case indicated the crime may be drug-related.
On Jan. 8, the NYPD released images and video of the three individuals, as well as their getaway car.
