The city was racked by gun violence again between Monday night and Tuesday morning, as seven people were shot — including one fatally — in four of the five boroughs, police reported.

A 22-year-old man lost his life after being shot in the head along Liberty Avenue near 90th Street in Ozone Park, Queens at about 9:50 p.m. on Dec. 7, law enforcement sources said.

Officers from the 106th Precinct and EMS units responded to a 911 call about the shooting and found the wounded victim in front of the location, unconscious and unresponsive.

Paramedics rushed him to Jamaica Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Police have withheld his identity, pending family notification.

At this point in the investigation, no arrests have been made, and detectives are working to establish a possible motive.

Six other men were shot and injured across New York City in about 12 hours time between Dec. 7-8, according to police.

Cops said a 43-year-old man was shot in the leg during a robbery in Far Rockaway, Queens at about 7:06 p.m. on Dec. 7.

Law enforcement sources said two robbers, described as Black men wearing black clothing, stopped the victim in front of a store on Beach 20th Street and displayed a gun. After removing the victim’s chain, authorities said, one of the thieves discharged a round, striking the victim’s leg.

The two robbers then fled the scene in an unknown direction.

Officers from the 101st Precinct responded to the incident. Paramedics brought the victim to Jamaica Hospital for treatment of injuries not considered life-threatening.

About 40 minutes later, at 7:43 p.m. Monday, a 19-year-old man was shot twice in the back in front of an apartment building at the corner of Lexington Avenue and East 130th Street, within the confines of the 25th Precinct.

According to law enforcement sources, the victim told detectives that he had heard shots and suddenly felt pain. It’s not clear at this point who shot him.

Paramedics brought him to Harlem Hospital, where he is expected to recover from his injuries.

Cops are also looking into the shooting of a 32-year-old man who walked into Harlem Hospital at about 7:56 p.m. on Monday night with bullet wounds. Police do not know where he was shot; sources said the victim was being uncooperative with detectives.

Detectives in Brooklyn are also investigating a shooting during a robbery attempt inside a barber shop in Flatbush.

Police sources said two suspects, described as Black men, walked into the High Profile gentlemen’s lounge/barbershop at 1958 Nostrand Ave. just after 8:10 p.m. on Dec. 7 and confronted a 24-year-old man.

After robbing him of undisclosed property, cops said, one of the suspect’s opened fire on the victim, striking him in the left shoulder. The thieves then exited the barber shop and were last seen running southbound on Nostrand Avenue.

Officers from the 70th Precinct and EMS units responded to the shooting. Paramedics rushed the victim to Kings County Hospital for treatment of injuries not considered life-threatening.

Over in East New York, a 24-year-old man was shot in the leg at the corner of Warwick Street and Arlington Avenue at about 8:40 p.m. on Monday night.

Police reported that he was brought by private means to Brookdale Hospital for treatment of injuries not considered life-threatening. The incident was reported to the 75th Precinct.

Law enforcement sources said the victim was being uncooperative with detectives about the circumstances surrounding his shooting.

Finally, in the Bronx, detectives are investigating a shooting involving a 45-year-old man following a dispute near the Dyre Avenue train station in Eastchester.

Cops said the victim got into an argument with the suspect at the corner of Dyre Avenue and Light Street at about 6:54 a.m. on Dec. 8. The words turned physical when the perpetrator pulled out a gun and shot the victim once in the torso.

After firing the shot, the assailant — whom police described as a Black man — fled on foot southbound along Dyre Avenue.

Officers from the 47th Precinct and EMS units responded to the incident. Paramedics brought the victim to Jacobi Hospital for treatment of injuries not considered life-threatening.

So far, no arrests have been made in any of the shootings.
