Detectives booked a 29-year-old woman on murder charges for fatally stabbing her ex-boyfriend inside his Brooklyn apartment on Monday night, police announced Tuesday.

Cops said that Alma Bravo, 29, allegedly knifed Frankie Cardona, 25, of 13th Avenue in Bensonhurst during an apparent dispute inside Bravo’s home on East 94th Street in Canarsie.

Officers from the 69th Precinct found Cardona stabbed numerous times inside her third-floor residence at about 10:11 p.m. on March 15.

Cops said Cardona had been knifed about his chest and neck. Responding EMS units pronounced him dead at the scene.

Police sources said that Bravo allegedly placed the 911 call that brought the officers to her home. A kitchen knife that she allegedly used on Cardona was subsequently recovered from the scene.

Officers took Bravo into custody at the scene for further questioning. Sources familiar with the investigation said that Bravo told detectives Cardona had punched her before the stabbing — but she had no visible signs of injury.

Police sources said Cardona and Bravo had a prior history of domestic violence incidents which required a police response.
