MTA bus driver busted for gun possession on a Brooklyn street

An off-duty MTA bus driver was arrested on Tuesday night after a group of people were busted for gambling on a Brooklyn street.

According to police, at 8:22 p.m. on April 28 the NYPD were alerted that a group of people gambling outside of 401 East 23rd Street. While officers were on the scene, they found 22-year-old Gianni Eatman-Nelson in possession of a loaded .380 pistol. 

Eatman-Nelson was taken into custody and charged with criminal possession of a loaded firearm, criminal possession of a weapon, obstructing governmental administration and violation of local law.
