Man fatally shot during dispute outside hotel in Chelsea: NYPD

Cops are looking for the gunman who shot and killed a 25-year-old man during an argument in front of a hotel in Chelsea early on Thursday morning.

Law enforcement sources said the slaying happened at about 12:22 a.m. on June 10 in front of the Dream Hotel at 355 West 16th St.

Officers from the 10th Precinct, in responding to a 911 call at the location, found the victim with a gunshot wound to his torso.

Based on a preliminary investigation, police learned that the victim had been shot by an unknown gunman following a dispute at the location. The perpetrator was seen fleeing inside an unidentified SUV.

EMS units rushed the victim to Lenox Hill Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Police have withheld the victim’s identity, pending family notification.

So far, no arrests have been made in the ongoing investigation, police said.
