Best selling writers/parents

Amy Sohn, left, and Jennifer Cody Epstein shared a laugh during the Pen Parentis Author Salon Dec. 8 at the Libertine Library at Gild Hall. Sohn, who recently published the novel “Prospect Park West” and wrote the “Sex and the City” companion books, read at the event, which was a fundraiser for Pen Parentis, a local group for writers who have children. Epstein, who wrote “The Painter of Shanghai,” was also on hand to sign books.
