In fact, the only people who showed up were a few dozen Beyoncé supporters who set out to counter the protesters who had issues with her Super Bowl half time show over its alleged support of the Black Panthers. The unnamed organizer of the protest against Bey couldn’t be reached for comment, however Shantell Thompson, who organized the pro-Beyoncé rally, said she brought 50 people to the Park Avenue office. “We went for a little while and when I saw they didn’t show up I told everyone to go home,” she said.
