The 32nd Annual Greenwich Village Halloween Parade paid tribute to the victims of the Hurricane Katrina disaster, with Glenn Hall, 10, a New Orleans trumpeter, serving as the parade’s grand marshal. Also from New Orleans, the Mardi Gras band the Rebirth Brass Band joined the parade, too. Also making an appearance were the Devil, Jesus, flappers, the W.M.D. girls, a ghost with a Twizzler (nice way to represent trickling blood), pimps, a crocodile and, last but not least, President Bush in prison stripes. The consensus was that this year’s parade topped last year’s for fun and spirit.
