Catch-and-release

The Battery Park Conservancy held its popular Go Fish! event on Saturday at Wagner Park. The event takes place four times a year and gives children the opportunity to fish as well as to learn about the Hudson River’s ecosystem. Over 75 fish were caught and placed into aquariums and then released back into the water. There was also a fish dissection demonstration – a favorite amongst the young anglers.
