Eva Capsouto, mother of the three brothers who own Capsouto Frères in Tribeca was a Downtown resident for 41 years until her death in April 2003. Samuel Capsouto, her middle son said “The restaurant is the mother to her customers, feeding them on all levels. In that sense Capsouto Frères is Eva.” Showing at the festival is a 25-minute-film, “I Think Myself I Am All the Time Younger,” a portrait of Eva, a former Turkish immigrant, as she celebrates the anniversary of her sons’ restaurant.
