Duane’s first podcast is ‘total garbage’

Keeping pace with how New Yorkers get their information, State Senator Thomas Duane launched his podcast last week, with an 11-minute story on his visit to a waste-transfer station in Jersey City, like the ones proposed on Gansevoort Peninsula and Pier 99 that would violate the 1998 Hudson River Park Act.

The premiere podcast also includes Duane interviewing former New York City Sanitation Commissioner Brendan Sexton. It was produced by Adam Riff, Duane’s legislative aide and Community Board 2 liaison.

The podcast is listed on Apple iTunes and all other major podcast directories. New podcasts will also be posted on Duane’s Web site at https://www.tomduane.com/podcast.htm.
