Earlier this month, Brian Dube, who lives on Washington Square North and runs a photo blog, newyorkdailyphoto.com, caught a red-tailed hawk eating a pigeon on his window air conditioner, above. Dube took the photo from just inches away. Meanwhile, Glenn Serrano from the East Village got a photo this week of a different red-tailed hawk in Tompkins Square Park, not hunting and feeding, but just hanging out while perched on the children’s playground fence, right.
