The “High Noon” Bush-Kerry showdown party at Florent, 69 Gansevoort St., in the Meat Market on election night was a real hoedown. Unfortunately, many who paid for dinner to attend saw their candidate — John Kerry — go down. But at least there was an exciting show on the bar top, including performances by the Pontani Sisters — from left, Helen, Angie and Tara — and Angelo Iodice, a.k.a. A. J. Silver, and the showdown’s host, drag king Murray Hill. The Wau Wau Sisters, Adrienne and Tanya, also got in on the act.
