Best New Voices Burgeoning fiction writers will read from Harcourt’s “Best American Voices 2006” Sunday, November 27 at KGB. The series, hand-picked by Francine Prose, features the best new writers from the nation’s top writing programs. Sunday’s reading includes Jessica Anthony, Amber Dermot, Sian M. Ninth Precinct Community Council, 130 Ave. C, 212-477-7826: Annual Children’s CHRISTMAS PARTY, The Ninth Precinct Community Council will host their annual Christmas Party on Dec. 17 from 10am – 2pm. The event will feature music by local artists, refreshments and each child will receive a gift from Santa & Mrs. Claus. Last year, nearly three thousand children came to the party.
